The Crossroads of America

Visiting Northwest Ohio for business or pleasure?  Set up your basecamp in Rossford, Ohio! Just south of Toledo and east of Perrysburg, Rossford is conveniently located at the Crossroads of I-75 and the Ohio Turnpike.  Four first-class hotels are ready to greet you on Clark Drive at I-795.  On a budget? Economy options are available at the Buck Road exit off I-75.  

Rossford provides excellent hotel accommodations, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and recreation. Visit Hollywood Casino, Bass Pro Shops, Camping World, the Crossroads Centre shopping area and everything in between.  The Downtown area plays hosts to local shops, restaurants, and bars with Veterans Memorial Park and Marina just down the street on the banks of the Maumee River.  Or, explore even further in Toledo and the surrounding area, then head back to Rossford to relax!

Rossford is one of five cities in Northwest Ohio’s Wood County.  Our Convention and Visitors Bureau works closely with the community to provide you the Midwest hospitality you would expect.

Rossford was founded by Edward Ford of the Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Company.  In 1898, Ford purchased 173 acres along the Maumee River to build the Edward Ford Plate Glass Company.  As workers came to the factory, Ford named the resulting town “Rossford” by combining the last name of his second wife, Caroline Ross, with his.  In 1998, Rossford’s centennial, the town built a memorial next to the old Ford Club in memory of the founder of the city.
