Building Our Legacy

The Edward Ford Memorial Park was built in 1998 to mark the 100th anniversary of Rossford’s founding. It’s nestled adjacent to businesses and companies where immigrants and families first flocked to live when Edward Ford built his “company town.” 

 

The Rossford Convention and Visitors Bureau launched the Building Our Legacy campaign to enhance the current structure of the park’s pavilion and stage and add engaging art and historical content for all residents and visitors to enjoy. Plans include extending the stage area of the pavilion in the park, adding a deck, and removing obtrusive fencing. New outdoor artwork reflective of Rossford’s rich cultural heritage will be commissioned and displayed in the park.
